Floorball is a versatile indoor team sport
developed in the 1970s in Sweden, played with plastic sticks and a light ball
and with a goalkeeper without a stick. Making
an official debut at the Special Olympics Winter Games in 2017, the game is slightly modified from the
"regular" form of Floorball. Matches are played 3 versus 3 with
goalkeepers, on a smaller court that measures 20 m long by 12 m wide.
Training will prepare a team for the Winter Games and
to be advised) will also be catered for those interested to learn the basic
skills of goal shooting, receiving and passing, and stick handling.
